The annual Tennessee State Fair is generally held at the end of the Summer Season in September.  Throughout the rest of the year it is a major venue for numerous local and traveling shows, conventions, concerts, and other events.

The Tennessee State Fairgrounds Flea Market is considered to be among the top ten flea markets in the country.  Eager shoppers travel hundreds of miles, often by the bus load, to peruse the bargains and hard-to-find items offered for sale from dealers and vendors representing as many as 30 states. There's a huge variety of gifts, antiques, collectibles, jewelry, arts and crafts, tools, house wares, handmade clothing, and hundreds of thousands of other items each month.

The Fairgrounds are located on 117 acres conveniently located near downtown Nashville and close to all three major Interstate Highways serving the area.

From West (Memphis area)
Take I-40 East to I-65 South to Exit 81 (Wedgewood Ave.), turn left one mile

From East (Knoxville area)
Take I-40 West to I-65 South to exit 81 (Wedgewood Ave.), turn left go one mile

From Southeast (Murfreesboro, Chattanooga, Atlanta)
Take I-24 West to I-440 West follow to exit 6 (Nolensville Pike), turn right, go 1 mile Fairgrounds will be on your left

From Northwest (Clarksville, Ft Campbell)
Take I-24 East to I-65 South to Exit 81 (Wedgewood Ave.), turn left, 1 mile to Fairgrounds

From South (Alabama)
Take I-65 North to Exit 81 (Wedgewood Ave.), turn right, 1 mile to Fairgrounds

From North (Bowling Green, Kentucky, Indiana)
Take I-65 south to exit 81 (Wedgewood Ave.), turn left one mile to Fairgrounds

Turn right at 1st light onto Bransford Avenue, go to 4 way stop turn left on Benton Ave, go to top for drop off and parking

From Interstate 440
Turn left on Craighead just after cross over railroad tracks, go to 1st light turn right on Bransford, go to 4 way stop turn right on Benton Avenue, go to top for drop off and parking
