Throughout the rest of the year it is a major venue for numerous local and traveling shows, conventions, concerts, and other events. The Tennessee State Fairgrounds Flea Market is considered to be among the top ten flea markets in the country. Eager shoppers travel hundreds of miles, often by the bus load, to peruse the bargains and hard-to-find items offered for sale from dealers and vendors representing as many as 30 states. There's a huge variety of gifts, antiques, collectibles, jewelry, arts and crafts, tools, house wares, handmade clothing, and hundreds of thousands of other items each month. The Fairgrounds are located on 117 acres conveniently located near downtown Nashville and close to all three major Interstate Highways serving the area.
