The Ultimate Day of Wellness in Nashville
When it comes to living a balanced, healthy lifestyle, the city of Nashville has all you need for a full day of wellness.
Is today “day one” or “one day” to kick start your wellness? Our ultimate day of wellness in Nashville highlights the people, places and habits that promote a healthy lifestyle.
Morning Jump Start, 6am
There is a path and a pace for every person, and finding a fit community to connect with is key to building a lasting lifestyle habit. To get everything you need from a balanced fitness routine in one hour, visit the brand new CODE in the Germantown neighborhood. CODE combines strength training, cardio conditioning and flexibility in a total-body workout set in a supportive group atmosphere. Join a free community class every Saturday morning at 9am to experience a workout and meet the community. For more fitness options, check out Nashville Fit Magazine to find reviews on local gyms and news on the latest openings.

A New Morning Ritual, 7:30am
Establishing a morning ritual can make all the difference in how you feel the rest of the day. Integrating a daily habit of self-reflection in The 5-Minute Journal while enjoying a cup of coffee from one of Nashville’s local roasters like Crema increases your positive outlook on the day and supports your mental well-being. A few minutes of focusing on what there is to be grateful for, and choosing what is in your control, sets a positive tone for the day.

Mid-Day Hustle, 10am
Exploring the city of Nashville during the day can lead to new adventures and opportunities to connect with others. Nashville is well known as a creative city, home to artists, musicians, designers, photographers, entertainers and entrepreneurs. For an eccentric, dynamic place that cultivates creativity, productivity and progress, use a day pass at Deavor or The Lodge Franklin. Part of mental growth is trying something new outside of your comfort zone, and these collaborative communities are perfect for sparking innovation and insight.

Fuel Up, 12pm
To fuel your body with the nutrients it needs, head to True Food Kitchen for a diverse menu that is built on the philosophy that food should make you feel better not worse. We opt for one of their protein-packed sandwiches like the Turkey burger with a side organic kale salad. Other spots like E+ROSE Wellness and Clean Juice Five Points set up their menus to educate customers about the benefits of its wholesome ingredients, and the positive impact on your well-being. For more specialized offerings for vegans and vegetarians that don’t cut any corners on taste, we head to AVO Nashville.

Lend a Hand, 2pm
Seeking out opportunities to connect and help others is another way to improve your own well-being. Hands on Nashville promotes volunteer opportunities to get involved in the city throughout the year across many different activities, including food pantries and pet community centers. We also love locals that have started their own initiatives from the ground-up to improve the wellness of the community, such as Project 615 (and we love their apparel to lounge around in, too!).

Relax and Unwind, 7pm
Life is the ultimate practice of balance, and Nashville offers plenty of opportunities for relaxation and rejuvenation. Spa and salon services should become a regular practice of self-care, as they are just as important as the hard work that happens in the gym. If you’re looking to try something new, Pure Sweat and Float Studio features whole body therapy in the forms of infrared technology and water floatation. Or, try O.Live Body Bar, the only mud lounge in the state of Tennessee, which includes a full body mud mask that finishes with a lavender-scented steam treatment.

No matter how or where you begin in your personal journey of wellness, the most important part is that you start. Start and keep building on a complete physical, mental and social wellness lifestyle supported by all that Music City has to offer.
